The Skyviewing house is a place of reflection of the connection of sky to land. Through the deconstruction of the horizon, the sky is unbound, and a new line can be drawn. Two sunken structures, though nearly identical by approach, capture the paradox of the sky; as dichotomous yet whole. One captures the lightness, distance and vastness of the sky, while the other attempts to bring the sky down to a human scale, demonstrating the point where sky meets land.
