Entering into the cemetery, the clerestory of the canopies merge with the mountains surrounding you, enveloping you in the valley of Riva San Vitale. The gravel crunches beneath your feet as you walk, then suddenly stops when you enter the chapel. Silence and darkness envelop you. Only the flickering candles and their reflection illuminate the space.
